The Parent’s Cooperative Preschool (Co-Op) began as parents were looking for a more affordable and parent-involved preschool experience for the children. Under the guidance of our experienced and energetic teachers, Julie Balawajder and Nancy Heink, parents assist in the room on a scheduled basis, bringing to the program new perspectives, skills and interest areas. The program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

This program requires a parent to volunteer in the room once out of every eight times the child attends. Before you can be in the room as a volunteer, the following requirements must be met:

Background Check: you will need both a BCI and FBI report done.                              Three References                           Medical Statement, including a TB test            Copy of High School Diploma or College Transcripts   Non-Conviction Statement                    and various other Center-issued forms.
